Features of the FR6UC include a mahogany body mated to a 24-fret maple and walnut Wizard HP neck with bound ebony fretboard and Graph Tech TUSQ nut. Components include made-in-England Bare Knuckle pickups, a fixed bridge and locking tuners. The FR6UCS is a similar model with stainless steel frets which was offered in Japan as a spot model starting in 2016. The FR6UCS replaced this model completely for 2017.
