Diva D'Abruzzo appeared in the "Singing" episode of Elmo's World to show Elmo how an opera singer can sing high, low, fast and slow. She also narrates the variations of Elmo who subsequently appear in Tickle Me Land, pointing out some of the different types of music there are. She later appears at the end of the episode to sing the "Sing Song." The character is made from an orange live-hand Anything Muppet, and is named after her performer, Stephanie D'Abruzzo.
