Morgan Boulevard is a Washington Metro station in Prince George's County, Maryland on the Blue Line; it began service on December 18, 2004. The station is less than a mile from FedEx Field, the home of the Washington Redskins. It is about a 15-minute walk to the stadium from the station. The Morgan Boulevard Station gained approval from Congress in 1999. Construction began in 2001, and the cost of building it and its sister station, Largo Town Center, was over $450 million.
