Ludon was a crewmember aboard the La Petite Marie, and was referred to as occupying several jobs, including mate and steersman. Along with Grest and Ricaud, Ludon deserted the ship at Guayama, Puerto Rico. Unfortunately for Ludon, the crew of the Diablo Del Mar found him near Ponce. Captain Rocco Madrid captured the Frenchman and attempted to use him as a bartering chip during negotiations with Redjack Teal. This ultimately backfired, as Teal sailed off with the Del Mar and Ludon.
