Komerak is a Toa of Ice and the former second-in-command of the Toa Yerta. After falling in the energized protodermis pool with the rest of the team, he was transformed... but his Nova power was triggered as a result. He ran off to unleash it, and got lost in the fields of snow. Weeks later, he was found by one of the Platinum Lantern rings in a cave defending himself from an ice bear and was inducted into the Platinum Lantern Corps as a result.
