After defeating Daemon, which lead to Oikawa's escape, the young DigiDestined have to find Oikawa and stop him from entering the Digital World where could possible do more harm, all the while, trying to find a way to get the Dark Spores out of the infected children. Meanwhile, the older DigiDestined must find clues to why Oikawa wants to go to the Digital World while they're on the run from U.S. President Whitburne, who is desperate for answers at this point and is also leading a manhunt on Oikawa and to make matters worse, Whitburne has deputized all criminals to look for Oikawa and make sure no one get in his way.
