Violet is the cousin of Samwise and Frodo's childhood sweetheart back in the Shire. In the alternate universe during the aftermath of the One Ring's destruction, Violet was among the first of the Hobbits to see the changes within Frodo and eventually grows determined to help him by learning of the outside world despite Sam's protests.
