The Plais Islands were a group of islands in Aantooine's Pejat Ocean. They were considered hazardous in nature due to a large amount of soluble landforms that were likely to consume visitors. This was the result of wells placed on the islands to access the fresh water hidden in the subsurface, however they increased pore-water pressure that loosened the soil. To date, 3,489 beings have been reported missing around the Plais Islands, likely due to sinking in the local soils and sands.
