Ioile was a member of the People of the Open Sky in the 24th century. Ioile was of the same species as Ailoi and Oioli. In 2385, after the Children of the Open Sky arrived at Deep Space 9, Ioile was murdered by Ailoi, who was a member of the Chain. (DS9 novel: The Missing)
