The name given to the regions and baronies that existed outside of In-World on the borderlands of civilized human culture. More of a metaphorical classification than a geographical one, these lands did not have access to many of the amenities found in New Canaan and the Inner Baronies such as electricity and other working technologies left over from the Great Old Ones. These backwaters may also referenced to residing in the Outer Arc or the Outer Crescent. Mejis is one such backwater community.
