Mannethrel Darkstar was a night elf member of the Illidari who had been captured[[:File:|[, ]]] by the Burning Legion, his soul sucked from him by Anguish Jailers at the Molten Shore in Mardum. He was freed from his torment, but after being weakened so much by the torture, could not contain the new power taught to him by his fellow demon hunters and subsequently died.
