In 1,553 BBY, Jenos Zho, an Ithorian Force-sensitive, crash landed on a jungle planet in an uncharted system after her ship malfunctioned. She was forced to hunt and gather, with only her introspection keeping her from insanity. This introspection was the root of the Simorrut ideals and principles. After two months, Zho dicovered the planet's natives, the first sentients she had seen on the planet. They were very hospitable and welcoming. The people spoke a native dialect of Galactic Basic Standard, and were quickly able to establish communication with Zho. She soon found out that she was on the planet of Simor and the people called themselves the Simo. The rate of Force-sensitivity in the species was very high.
