The Tartan II-class patrol cruiser, also known as the Tartan II-class corvette or the Tartan II patrol cruiser, was an Imperial and Republic anti-starfighter star cruiser developed by the Damorian Manufacturing Corporation after the developement of the Tartan I-class patrol cruiser. It was designed to defeat EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigates because they often ultimately destroyed Tartan I-class Patrol ruisers.
