Spectrum Animation was a Japanese animation studio that was founded in 1988 by Motoyoshi Tokunaga. Spectrum was responsible for animated Season 2 of the Captain N cartoon series. Due to NBC, the channel that aired the series, cutting budget costs on Saturday Morning cartoons, they did not animate Season 3, and Plus One Animation took over for them. However, Spectrum is credited for the storyboards of that season's episodes.
