In "The One With The Monkey", Monica throws a New Years Party and invites Fun Bobby as her date. When he shows up, he does not live up to his nickname, however, and reveals that his grandfather has just died and he cannot get a flight out until the next day, so he decided to show up to the party. This makes his grandfather's date of death December 31, 1994. He had an open coffin ceremony and is never seen on-screen.
