Blood spites were bat-like creatures that fed on warm blood and inhabited the Old City on the planet Tython, though their existence was widely considered to be only a rumor by the Je'daii. They had dripping teeth, long and thin tendrils that were easy to break, and flew using feathery wings that made no noise.
