Power mauls are essentially truncheons containing a power field generator, which can create an energy field with the strength to punch through body armor to simply knocking out an unruly rioter. As a result, the power maul is a useful tool used by the Arbites to keep order throughout the vast Xedael Empire. The Forgotten are equipped with a collapsible version of the power maul, which increases portability. This version is used primarily as a door-breaching device.
