The Destiny lockpicks are devices created by the Lucian Alliance to force open doors aboard Destiny. When planted on the center of a hatch door aboard Destiny, they forcefully spin the locking cog of the door, triggering the door to open and bypassing the door controls entirely. Commander Kiva used them to open the doors in the gate room and advance through the ship when she and her strike force boarded Destiny. The Lucian Alliance most likely acquired information about how the doors aboard Destiny work from Colonel David Telford. (SGU: "Incursion, Part 1")
