In "Byzantium", Jane finds a lakeside cabin with 24 acres for sale. He purchases the cabin in "Brown Shag Carpet" and shows it to Lisbon, telling her it will be their home once he renovates it. Her proposes to Lisbon by the lake and they wed there in "White Orchids". Lisbon also announces her pregnancy to Jane at the lake after their wedding. The cabin also appeared in the season two episode "Black Gold and Red Blood", instead as Roddy Gerber's home.
