Cloudkicker is a musical project by American musician Ben Sharp. Sharp is the sole songwriter, performer, producer and engineer behind Cloudkicker, and offers his music free of charge. His project has been called "one of Bandcamp’s first success stories", and has received props from the likes of Devin Townsend. Much has been made of Sharp's reluctance performing live or signing with a major label despite his success: he has noted that both of these things take concentrated effort, something he's not willing to invest time in, although he noted that playing live would be fun.
