The Allosaurus, or TYRO in the NES version, is an enemy that appeared in the original Final Fantasy. They are frequently found in the Great Desert, but are also rarely seen around the Lufenia area. Allosaurus mostly appear alone, but they are sometimes accompanied by a Wyvern or two. They are very resistant to spells, but have very low Defense, making them vulnerable to physical attacks. They drop Strength Tonics, which can be useful for party members with a low Strength stat. As with most monsters based on size, they drop a large amount of EXP and gil, but are also tougher, with a high Attack bonus.
