Otto and Ilse were two big and mean dogs owned by Fritz. Like their master, they were throwbacks, to wolves in their case. Normally, the two ran loose scaring the other pets in the neighborhood, but after Fritz got into trouble, he had to keep them on the leash. One pet they had previously chased was Joe, a fox owned by Willie. Joe hadn't forgotten and was always cautious when near them staying behind Willie whenever possible.
