For most of "If It Smells Like an Ed," the only person seen eating jujubes was Rolf. Rolf's predilection for the candies seemingly bordered on obsession, as he was constantly seen eating them throughout the episode. This suggested to the audience that he was the creator of the plot against the Eds in the episode, as jujubes figured heavily into the plot; firstly when Jonny 2x4 was found tied up with jujubes glued to him, and later when a trail of jujubes led to the abandoned shed containing the Kanker Sisters. However, the end of the episode revealed that Jimmy was actually the one giving Rolf the jujubes, and later that he was the one who had tricked the Eds and used the jujubes in order to throw the Eds off of his trail.
