Alma Lusa were a short-lived Portuguese band specifically set up to enter Festival da Canção 1998. They won the contest, thus becoming Portugal's representatives at the 1998 Contest. Their only song was their entry, Se eu te pudesse abraçar. The band immediately split up after the contest.
