The Ruinous Wave, also known as the Ruin Wave, is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. It is found in the Subterranean Lake, exclusively in the room where Gutsco waits. It has a 40% chance of using Bad Breath, which, unlike in future Final Fantasy games, merely inflicts Paralysis on a party member. They are otherwise not difficult to defeat, and physical attacks can do so easily.
