The Type-108 "Super Tyrant" is a weapon that is mounted on Covenant ships and ground fortifications and is very effective against ground vehicles, useful for orbital bombardment, and for ship-to-ship warfare. An area effect weapon that consists of two Tyrant turrets mounted together, it possesses a far better firing rate than the original Tyrant, along with providing a higher damage output. Unlike its younger cousin, the Super-Tyrant has four high rate Shrike turrets strategically placed to provide overlapping fields of fire against missiles or fighters that are assaulting the Type-108.
