In 2004, he became the founder and medical director of, the Bariatric Medical Institute which provides non-surgical weight management. He is one of Canada’s most outspoken obesity experts. In 2014, he wrote The Diet Fix: Why Everything You've Been Taught About Dieting is Wrong and How to Fix It.
