William Henry Egg was a Third Class steward of the Titanic. He died in the sinking. He was born in Bow, Middlesex, England in 1864, his birth being registered in Poplar in the June quarter of that year. His parents were William Henry Egg (1832 - 1902) and Agnes Matilda Evered (1827 - 1901), both Middlesex natives who had married in Poplar in 1852. Together they had six children: Matilda Ann (b. 1856), Agnes Ann (b. 1858), Emily (b. 1860), Louisa (b . 1868), Alice (b. 1870), and William. William Egg died in the sinking. His body, if recovered, was never identified.
