In order to prevent Chiriko's death at the hands of Miboshi, he must have at least 4 "like" points. Due to him being the last warrior to appear in the game, everytime he is chosen he receives 2 "like" points, so the player needs to select him only twice in order to obtain the total of points necessary to save him.
