The Huttese Empire was an enormous interstellar empire founded by the Hutts of Nal Hutta before the formation of the Galactic Republic. After the collapse of the Infinite Empire, the Hutts became a dominent force in the galaxy, manipulating lesser nations through the use of the economy, politics, and treaties. Throughout its long, and varied history, the Huttese Empire generally avoided war, until the beginning of the Hutt-Xim War.
