The Northern Jundland Plateau was a region in the Jundland Wastes on the planet Tatooine, located on the western edge of the area known as the Deathly Heat. During the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, a number of wind vanes and moisture vaporators were located on the plateau, and a Jedi Knight visited the plateau to set up an ultrasonic sensor as part of an effort to locate the Shock Drum, a superweapon that generated seismic vibrations.
