Adrian Mole's first 'lover' and mother of Glenn Bott (Adrian's illegitimate son). Adrian and Sharon have nothing in common and were merely interested in each other for sex. Sharon represents the underclass of Britain. Sharon and Adrian maintain a good relationship for their son's sake. Sharon secretly admits to Adrian that he was the "best" bloke she ever had and that he was "good to her" in that he never hit her. In The Lost Diaries, she arrives at Adrian's home one evening and proposes to him. Adrian turns her down, much to Glenn's disappointment.
