Fred Knapp is a former NASCAR driver from Jamestown, NY. He competed in two Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten. Both of Knapp's race came in 1957, when he debuted at New Oxford. Starting 15th in the field of thirty-two, Knapp completed most of the race and drove to a solid 10th place effort. He had a solid chance to better than in his other race, but steering issues left him 18th at Syracuse.
