Death By Yo-Yo(2007-2008) was a small manufacturer of high-end Delrin and aluminum yo-yos that got its start in 2007. Owned and operated by James Copley, the first yo-yo in the line, the Gung-Fu, was released in 2007, with the first aluminum in their line the E.K.G. released in the spring of 2008. Death By Yo-Yo was quickly assembling a team of players, including Beverchakus and WasKnownAsYoNick, prior to its undoing. Toward the end of 2008, among much turmoil Death By Yo-Yo slowly eroded most of its reputation by poorly handled trades and sales. This left only the shell of what DBYY once was.
