is a former jōnin from Kirigakure who was kidnapped as a child by Hitokiri. At this time she met Yuki Yadōmaru and Tōshirō Senju who were also kidnapped by the organization. The three of them were later rescued by Tōshirō's father and have been good friends ever since. Misa'a father later adopted Yuki as her family was killed by Hitokiri and she had no living relatives in Kumo. Due to her involvement in the events surrounding Tōshirō's expulsion from Konoha, Misa later left Kiri and accompanied him in his exile. Yuki also accompanied them upon their father's insistence to keep an eye on her.
