The First Battle of Southport took place just after 9:30pm local time on the 16th of April, 2015, at the People's Army garrison just outside the city of Southport in the Republic of Jerna. It was fought between forces of the Presidential Guard of the Republic of Jerna, commanded by Arrnea, and forces of the 76th Infantry Company of the People's Army of the Republic of Jerna. The battle was a decisive victory for the forces loyal to Arrnea, with the opposing forces surrendering unconditionally and defecting after being surrounded. The battle is remarkable for having no casualties on either side, which was a stated goal of Arrnea's move here, not wishing to shed the blood of his own countrymen.
