She is first seen taking notes when she notices an injured bird. On the ark, Kairel struggles with Xiro about taking responsibility and being a true king. Xiro accepts Kairel with him onto the ark after his first choice of mate, Bruma, gets squashed by a falling hippopotamus and drowns. She is only chosen for being the only lioness left. She realizes how much he means to her when he is captured by the Predators (while he falls for the sexy body of its only female member Panthy). She and Xiro's real friends free Xiro, and together, they subdue the Predators and take the ark back from them. Finally, Xiro and Kairel are together forever.
