The spirit particles that make a "body" in soul society isnt the same as a "soul", the person is reincarnated but the actual body is broken down into particles.Soul society is made up of spirit particles, when a soul reaper died their body becomes more of those particles and become a part of the soul society while that person is reincarnated into the human world.
