John "Cully" Simon (May 8, 1918 – August 8, 1980) was a professional ice hockey defenceman who played 130 games in the National Hockey League. He was born in Brockville, Ontario. He played with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Black Hawks. Simon's name was added to the Stanley Cup in 1943 with Detroit. Simon continued part time in the NHL through 1944-45, finishing that year with the Chicago Black Hawks. His NHL totals were 130 games with 4 goals and 11 assists. He also scored 1 goal in 14 playoff games.
