Alkron was the second planet in the Alkron system. However, a gravometric power station at each pole exploded at the same time, due to a terrorist attack from a splinter group of the government. The following explosion made a hole in the fragment of space on the poles, slowly sucking in the planet into the poles till nothing was left, then slowly reappearing. This happened every month. This moving of the planet ran along the crack in space created by the Rift. The once lush green world rapidly changed into a volcanic death trap, and the humanoid life on Alkron had to also rapidly evolve.
