The Student lived at the dormitory at Manchester Polytechnic in 1989. Just before Christmas, she took a call for Jenny Bradley from Rita Fairclough and fetched Jenny from her room. Still blaming Rita for Alan Bradley's death, Jenny hung up the receiver immediately upon hearing her voice.
