The Perre Needmo Newshour was a daily show hosted by Perre Needmo focusing on recent events in the Coruscant society. Jorm Alvic, a long-time friend of Needmo's, was the director, and Sima Shadar was the producer. Beginning in 44 ABY, the show ran a regular segment by the Devaronian reporter Madhi Vaandt on the continuing practices of slavery in the galaxy.
