A trapeze act was a group of individuals who performed on a trapeze. In 2374, Vic Fontaine encouraged the crew of Deep Space 9 visiting Vic's lounge to forgo their usual uniforms in favor of coats and neckties (men) and dresses (women), saying they looked like a trapeze act. (DS9: "His Way")
