Hiruma Mayu was a scout of the Crab Clan who run out of jade too far from the Kaiu Wall. She joined the Lost and became a follower of Daigotsu. Mayu married another Lost, Akodo Emon, who had been tainted during the Battle of Oblivion's Gate. They were part of the founders of the City of the Lost, deep in the Shadowlands, where they had a son, Daigotsu Manobu. The couple were killed by nezumi of the Crippled Bone Tribe.
