Between 2025 and 2121, nine Earth nations formed ten colonies on the Moon, and in 2128, these colonies banded together to declare independence, and in 2130, after the war of independence, this was granted, but it wasn't until 2303, when the population reached 1 million, that every Earth nation officially recognized it as a nation.
