Despite being externally indistinguishable from Humans, their biochemistry is extremely different, as they normally survive at temperatures around -193°C. They show an impressive tolerance range, though, being able to remain alive at even 0°C, which should be exceedingly hot for their standards. When exposed to temperatures higher than 0°C, however, their bodies start to disintegrate. Their natural lifespan is of several millennia. About two million years into the future, their homeworld was destroyed by a supernova. It's unknown how many (if any) of the species survived.
