The Mid-Glamorgan Light Operatic Society is a group of singers and actors dedicated to light opera, an opera that generally includes a light ending. Half of the society were poisoned when fed some of Nanny's broth. Professor Frank N. Stein angrily refuted these claims, stating that he was brought up on the gruel and no harm had to come to him (something of a dubious observation).
