Mr. Hoffman (unknown if this a real name or code name) is a Wizard and in charge of the magical security at L.A.N.R.L.U.N.M.. He is called in to examine Whisper while she is in the ILWMETSS. He is the first to notice the magical traces playing GEO leaves on a computer.
