San Elves are one of three elven races available in Dragon's Gate. They are violent, turbulent and tumultuous. They are the darkest skinned of the three elven races, the most skilled in magic, and (in Spur at least) much the most numerous. The vast majority follow either Taath or Set, with Sa and Unknown having much smaller followings. Elindalian and Rinannian San Elves are few and far between, and subject to ruthless persecution by their kin. Due to their treacherous and criminal inclinations, San Elves are banned from the City of Treehaven. A notable exception is Kagee Mandor, who is considered a friend of Treehaven (and consequently much mocked by her own people.) Conversely, San Elves have played a prominent role in Emjedah.
