This technique is similar in function to the Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique as it can be molded into shapes, but unlike its cousin these shapes are two-dimensional rather than three dimensional and as such require the user to create multiple shapes to effectively use it in this manner. When used in this way it is a stand alone jutsu but it still carries the same effect of the microscopic blade shredding the target.
